Did a double take when I saw this girl taking a shot of what looked like a fox, but pretty sure it is a Shiba Inu pup!

Beige, brown and more on a very dull day

This week I intended to take photos in the garden for the October month challenge, but didn't expect this. She came and settled herself in the sun just a couple of yards from our garden doors but then became tormented by lice (?) in her tail and then by a buzzing fly - hence her pose here. You can see the sorry state of her tail where she had already been tearing chunks of hair off it. She got more mouthfuls today.

We were watching four kits playing around a fox den...looking left we found Mom watching us. She did not seemed concerned by our presence and soon lay down for a short nap.

Red fox caught in the evening sunset - golden hour rightly named - what a beautiful creature and good to see it looking so healthy.

Taken last night! Had about 8 budwiesers when i took this lol! will catch up tomo off into town tonight!

The fox was very calm, casually roaming about, and then it slowly walked into the woods. Fortunately there was no traffic during this interaction.

Another photo of the Fox in Island Park, Idaho.

Something has caught the attention of this beautiful Red Fox. And of course as I was walking back to the car, because I thought I had gotten the shot, Margaret yells "He's got a critter!". It must have been a small one because when I turned around I only saw the last two chomps and it was all over.
