Rose fingered Eos actually lives in a foundry.

Built in 1882 along the French Creek, the foundry of Phoenix Iron & Steel Company poured iron castings well into the 1970’s and is considered Phoenixville’s and Northern Chester County’s most important symbol of the town’s illustrious industrial past.

The cannon foundry Jaigarh Fort had a massive wind tunnel that sucked air from the high mountains into its furnace creating temperatures as high as 2400 °F, the heated air would melt the metal. The molten metal would fill a reservoir chamber and pass into a cannon mold in the casting pit.

This is a deck that I did for Lonnie over at Evil Souls car club for his friends at Foundry Moto.

On October 20, 2013, Brooks members visited the Lugar Foundry in Arlington, TN–a remarkable combination of studios, workshops, and sculpture garden. Here they learned about lost-wax casting, wandered through an enchanting grove of bamboo, and to met the talented Lugar family.

The cloth hanging from the ceiling in the background was to separate the foundry's area from a trucking company (or something) on the other side. The foundry was renting the space, so the cloth was a makeshift wall.
