Lots of pointy bits when viewed in original size.

Inside a collection of Oscar Wilde bios, collected works, and letters were a postcard of young Oscar and a note of support inside the cover of a 60's edition of De Profundis which had become a bookmark as well.

I pass this little guy on my walk to work every morning, as yet unclaimed.

found objects collage from a walk with my dog ..path collaged from book text and other stuff just glued..the walk was more exciting than the collage shows!!

Another piece that is very tricky to photograph. Looks much richer and more detailed in 'reality'

When pondering the meaning of art, images of toilet cubicles are not likely to spring to mind. Or are they? Found Object artwork took a radical and outrageous approach in challenging society’s conceptions of the meaning of art.

Gotta love the alley. You've got plenty of creamy, liquid shortening to go with your bucket of pickles.

My collection of sea glass. Collected over time from various places. Some of them are nice and smooth, others aren't. I'm not picky. :D

An example of what I can do with found objects or existing pieces. Mary and Bert had a lovely life as Christmas ornaments until our tree fell, one year, and they broke so that they couldn't be hung anymore. My mother was heartbroken, so for her birthday a week later, I created a rooftop for them to frolic on, year-round.

I found these outside my apartment. They look as if someone mugged them for everything else.

Taken on October 25, 2009 at Martin's Fork Lake, Smith, Harlan County, Kentucky with Canon PowerShot A 1100 IS.

There was an empty bottle of vodka in the alley for about a week. Then one day, the bottle was placed, carefully, in the center of a yellow piece of paper. Nearby was an empty, single-serving box of Corn Pops.
