Found Objects on MySpace

This is what happens when a can of Fruit Pleasures opts to explode on its own. Fortunately no cabinets were hurt.

From an ongoing found object series I've been working on.

I found both of these metal objects tucked into the gutters of two different books on the same day.

These were just sitting on the bench. Abandoned.

Installation in Testbed 1, Battersea, London.

Made from found and donated objects bound together with a continuous 1km line of rope.

I was just a little stunned to find this in an abandoned warehouse at the chemical processing plant. When I find things like this, I often wonder about who made it and why and how many other artists are out there in search of their audience.

 

Support your local artists and keep them off the streets.

And out of abandoned warehouses.

(Also? I so wanted to steal this, but it felt too wrong, so I left it for others to discover, too.)

All the pages are made from the cover of a marketing booklet for an apartment complex. Everything else is made of found pieces, except for a few Love, Elsie stickers and letters.
