I was out on a dirt road looking for photo subjects when I came across this glove. It was stuck on a weed and waving in the breeze.
Baby doll, rebar wire, window shutter, caulk. 2010. It was in the Memories: Recycling the Past to Repurpose the Future show at the ARTgarage in Green Bay, WI, in May of 2011
This is a gas station in the middle of nowhere, UT, off I-70. Lining the ceiling around the entire place were teddy bears in plastic bags. Big bears and little bears all in yellowed, old plastic bags. And signs that read "bears are not for sale".

Very evocative. I don't know why the little and pointing finger tips are cut off. Maybe that had something to do with it being discarded.
