around New York City in May of 2008, the objects are slip cast earthen ware and are installed as unfired objects
that disintegrate into the landscape of the city.

The hand is, of course, photoshopped in. This was at the last point of the English coast that would have been visible as the slave ships left for the Atlantic crossing.
Sculpture.
Reeds, driftwood, shells, twine.
17.5 x 2.5 x 8.5 in.

Extra information:
With the exception of the twine, all materials were found at the beach.
