New York Undercover, Patti D'Arbanville-Quinn as Lt. Virgina Cooper

I found this one on a tree trunk in a swampy area of the nature preserve. These are really pretty grasshoppers and not causing any trouble in places like this. Good food for the birds and possums and other predators.

This interesting waterfall can be found not far from Hvolsvellir, Eyjafjallajökull and Þórsmörk. there's a path behind the waterfall so you can walk behind it. It's a very popular tourist destination...

I put this image together with 3 different exposures, one for the main image which had a blown out sky, one for the clouds and another for a little darker shadows than the main image. I used masking and various brushes to bring out the parts I wanted to highlight....

When I was just a little 3 year old girl I LOST this lock of hair when I had my first haircut. Lucky for grown-up me, my mom pasted it into my babybook. And after many (many,many) years, I FOUND it once more. My Finnish heritage tied up in a bow :)
