Scanned old estate sale negative; This stretch of Western is now condos....
Note the campaign sign for Mayor Daley....which would date this sometime around 1983 or soon thereafter....
I found the biggest area of Poppies I have seen last night and what an amazing sight it was too, I was lucky enough to get a nice sky to top off the poppies at the end of the day too.
I watched thru the window as the tiny wren searched the seed assortment and came up with a peanut. Bird looks so pleased.
Carolina Wren (Thryothorus ludovicianus)

I found this empty half pint of whiskey in the basement tonight. It was carefully stashed in a space between the ceiling and the basement wall. I spotted it when I was on a step stool taking down a make shift clothes line that was attached to the ceiling.
Dates circa 1933 (at least the law dates at that time).
I like the idea that the last person (other than myself) who touched this bottle was over 70 years ago.
.. i found this picture on a memory card after i removed it from my camera :)

Vacation photo of my grandmother Ruth who lived to be 100 years old. I'm going through some old negatives and having them scanned.
My grandfather and grandmother took a bunch of trips with friends and have some photos that I'll be sharing.
Another one of my found photos, I've printed them off and stuck them around the town where I live. It's not just a half arsed attempt at street art, the reason behind it is because these are photos that no one's wanted, so I've given them a use and decided to share them with the people where I live, also it's because everyone has an obsession of making stencils or art from these big revolutionaries and stuff, and these are to most people, nobodies, sort of an irony. Making them someone.
that's my excuse anyway.
probably at El Mirage in 1997 -- from a box of slides I found at an antique store in Los Angeles in 2019.
Part of a large batch of vintage negatives I purchased at an estate sale. They seem to be mostly NJ, 1930s and 1940s. If you recognize a building, please comment and let me know where it is.
Someone gave me an old camera with an exposed roll of FP4 plus film in it. When I developed the roll I found that there was a large amount of fog and most of the photos vcame out as weak positives. The edge marking on the film says ILFORFD FP4 PLUS 6697
I don't know if this would containe the manufacturing date.
FP4 plus was introduced in 1990
