While downtown putting out food for feral cats, I started to put some water out and saw this face looking at me. It was a pretty small kitten who had hunkered in a small depression next to the building. I picked it up and it was very friendly and purred a lot. I don't think it was any of the area cats. I think someone saw the cats in the area and dumped it. I took it home and gave it a place in our 2nd bathroom with bed, food and water. It was very loving and wanted to be held. We gave it a small toy mouse and it played and played with it. We just couldn't have another cat, so today I loaded it up (with toy) and took it to the local shelter and gave them a nice donation for taking it in, I sure hope it finds a good home, someone will be getting a nice kitty.
The viktoria view and the king's chair are probably the most famous and highest rocks on Rügen. A hike there is not only worthwhile because of that. UNESCO ennobled the quaint old beech forests in the heart of the national park as a world heritage.
I used this moment of the brief “calmer sea” for this photo. Water is one of my favorite models. I have always found the diverse representation from roaring to still and the respective reflections exciting and fascinating at the same time.

The above quotation basically sums up how I feel about photography. We find things that are treasures to us, and we photograph and share them. Like Show and Tell. Remember that from elementary school? ;) A whole year (and longer) slipped away since I took this photo, but I’m finally sharing this found thing with you.
Thank you to everyone for your recent, generous faves and supportive comments. It encourages me, and it’s appreciated more than you know. My apologies for not being able to follow everyone that follows me. With Flickr’s settings, it makes it challenging to follow too many people without being overwhelmed. We found this beautiful Red-faced Warbler while exploring Carr Canyon in the Huachucas of Southeastern Arizona. No matter how many times I see these little beauties it’s always exciting!

The bluebirds were present daily in our yard since back in January. We went on a trip for a week and they were gone when we returned. Disappointing! We were hoping for a nesting pair.

Found the folder with the shots of this abandoned house in Portland, MI. I've posted this house before and liked the last edit that I did of it, a kind of washed out look. Took a different shot and duplicated the edit but with a few new skills. Would love to go back and reshoot this with my much improved skills with the camera but, alas, the house is gone.

Primarily found on Route 134 out of Potters Bar, OME2654 made a guest appearance on Route 43 as part of the Muswell Hill Running Day. It is pictured passing along Colney Hatch Lane by Trott Road as it heads for Archway Station
