Almost every time we head into the mountains we drive past this lake. This was one of those rare days when it was absolutely still on the lake and the reflections from the clouds were incredible.

…I was attracted to this uniquely shaped arch with window inset - I expect some serious extensions took place some time, quite possibly Henry Fox Talbot during his stay here? Have a great W/End folks, Alan:-)

London City Hall
is located on the South Bank of the River Thames adjacent to Tower Bridge, in the City of London. Designed by the architect Norman Foster of the Foster and Partners architecture firm. Foster is a world-renowned architect that has designed many famous buildings throughout the United Kingdom.

It was constructed using over 4 tonnes of steel and 13,100 square metres of concrete. During construction, two large pipes were installed that tapped into the water table of the River Thames.

Foster Falls is beautiful and impressive. I thoroughly enjoyed shooting it, however, the stream and cascades that flow out of the falls are amazing.
This is one of Nicole's (Escaping Reality) favorite places. Now I understand why.

Built on landfill, floating on lagoons. Photo taken from a recreational boat owned by a friend who lives in one of these beautiful homes.
The overcast conditions on this particular morning made for a really bland sky. But, thanks to all the recent rain, this puddle provided a nice reflection. I ended up with a much more serene scene in front of me than the the one I had envisioned on my drive out that morning.

Buona lettura!
"Ten stars for the speech to the graduates of Kenyon College...
...which in my opinion everyone should read, at least once in their life. And I am not exaggerating if I say that you should perhaps keep it at hand, and reread it every now and then, to remember to try (at least try) to have that "deep look" on reality that allows you not to take everything for granted, to put yourself in shoes of others to see things from a different perspective and to take a step back from one's own egocentrism." Review of the book that I subscribe to. I liked the stories, but it is the speech to the graduates that deserves the purchase of the book. Good reading!
A portrait of actress Meg Foster, who happens to be from my hometown. Doesn't she have the most hypnotic eyes?
Mr Spock Did not take well to having a Foster Dog for a few days, so he is trying to camouflage himself in a cupboard.

Here are sisters Maisy and Daisy in what appears to be my most important single photo on the internet. It looks like they are smooching but really they are helping each other clean up after eating since they did not have a mother cat available to do that. Mailsy and Daisy got adopted out together.
This is our first foster kitten of 2018. She came to us near the end of 2017 and she is now ready to go up for adoption.
Foster Falls is between Tracy City and Jasper Tennesee. Not much water but still a beautiful stop!! The hike wasnt bad either. I loved the suspension bridge just down stream for the falls although an 8 year old doesnt make it an easy crossing!!
