One Friday the 13th many moons ago, this poor college student gathered her change and headed to the student union to indulge in a cold tasty treat from Baskin Robbins. She placed her order and out of nowhere this older gentlemen quietly walked up and offered to pay not only for her ice cream but also for the gentlemen in line behind her. From that day on, she dubbed Friday the 13th her lucky day and realized that it was the first time she experienced the goodness of someone paying it forward. Oh and in case you haven't guessed already, that poor college student is me.

Of the first night of testing the anamorphic lens, this photo is my favorite. It really has that cinematic feeling that I have been looking for.
The lens really requires a lot of thinking about foreground and background elements. It's going to take some practice to really get this to work.
