Taken in Birmingham, Alabama a few years back, Thunder on the Mountain fireworks display. In the lower left corner you will find our local landmark, The Vulcan Statue. He really is quite tall, sitting on top of our Red Mountain. Looking forward to tonight's display. Our weather is supposed to be ideal. I am not sure if I will have time post any of tonight's shots today, so I am checking in early with one from the vault.
Have a great 4th of July everyone, and stay safe out there!

I have great hope that by the next 4th of July, we here in the U.S. will be able to celebrate with a more optimistic heart.

Hope everyone had a nice and safe forth of July. it was a dark and rainy day here in Miami before the fireworks but since the fireworks display was on a walking distance so i decided to head to watson island anyway. city did a great job on the fireworks display.

So this is what it looked like before the fireworks started. the city has closed the photographer's favorite part of Watson island. and we were forced to move to the other place but i think Miami still looks pretty. have a great week ahead my friends.

A salute to all nations but mostly America.
I enjoyed being a guest on the ISO 5571 Podcast this week hosted by Cory Disbrow, Tom Bricker, and Ryan Pastorino, discussing the creative process, shooting outside of Disney, and how all of it can work together to make frames at home or at Disney or wherever all the better.
The guys put on a good show, thanks for having me on.

When people describe "NDE" experiences they describe going towards the light. Flickr photographers want to know if that light contains any bokeh... ;-)
