Die Formula SAE wurde 1981 in den USA das erste Mal ausgetragen. 1998 kam der Wettbewerb als Formula Student in England erstmals nach Europa. Mittlerweile gibt es Wettbewerbe auf der ganzen Welt.

Pilot's eye view on my old Starboard Formula 175 board + 8.5m2 KA KRX rig. This was the high-wind set up, so was travelling reasonably fast in this photo from around 2002.

Formula One is a class of its own... it really lifts car driving into
a fine art.
Driving a Formula One car is very hard, but very sexy and very fullfilling.
I started following Kimi Räikkönen in 2002.
He is my favourite Formula One driver.
After two years successfully competing in the WRC he returned to F1 in 2012 with a new team Lotus, and finished the season 3rd overall... I think that is pretty cool!
I am absolutely thrilled with this car... it looks very good and handles like a dream.
