This Formula-style concept car was constructed using parts exclusively from the Mini Vespa, Set #40517 and a pick a brick cup bought at my local Lego store. The limitation on parts led to a lot of creative solutions. Overall I am very pleased with the shaping. Watch out for more mocs using the same pieces as these are all I have at the moment :)
I swear, this is the last Xenoblade X model I'll build. Maybe.
So now that I've played the game for a bit (Well, maybe more than a bit) I thought I would do one last Skell model. In the past, I've built the Mastema, with an opening cockpit gimmick, and a Xenoblade-inspired mech, the Helion, which lacked the cockpit gimmick but could transform. For this build, the Formula, I wanted to combine both the cockpit and the transformation. Because of the inclusion of these gimmicks, I was not able to add a whole lot of detail, but I did my best. It isn't especially poseable, and likes to fall apart while transforming it, but it's a whole lot better than the Mastema which was essentially a statue (It needed support to stand, this one does not). All of the blue bricks came from the Mystery Machine set, so I was very limited with those, although I think the color scheme turned out fine. I may build more weapons and maybe a flight pack in the future, we'll see.
Now to get on to Droneuary ;)
