Also known as the Ashley breaker, it is located in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Built in 1892, it once employed seven thousand to ten thousand workers. Towards the end of its life, the anthracite coal was renamed "blue coal" and was differentiated from its competitors by its blue color (dyed its trademark color at the breaker).

I guess I should have just started here, but I didn't want to spend the big bucks up front, before I knew whether I'd really get into large format.
So instead, I spent smaller bucks on three cameras, spending more than I would have if I'd just started with the F-Field. Finally I decided "yeah, I want the F-Field because it combines what I love about the others, and leaves behind some of what I don't like about them".
So here it is. Had a nice time cleaning it up after receipt, and playing with it in my basement "studio".
