Brilliant name for a Ironmongers in Coggeshall Essex - will only make sense if you remember the classic Two Ronnies Comedy sketch

Fork placed on top of red felt paper (the black felt paper i initially went for didn't bring out as much texture as i wanted, but the red one did so that's what i ended up using). Softboxed strobe back and a bit higher than the fork to bring out the details in the engraving.

Close up of a fork. Shot using Sigma 105 mm macro lens.

You would enjoy it more on a Full screen. Read EXIF if you are interested in Photography & feel free to share.

Fork gets protection at the drops and lots of bubble wrap. It is the 2nd thing to go down into the tube after the frame.

I'm not sure which I like better, the Fork from the last one or the Spoon in this one.

Three forks on a napkin. One in a series of completely brilliant and essential tabletop macros taken at local restaurants. Other serious artworks in this series include: TABASCO SAUCE BOTTLE, SALT AND PEPPER SHAKERS, KETCHUP BOTTLE, and SPOON AND KNIFE. Collect them all today!

Leipers Fork was a very pretty area but it seemed even smaller than my town and that is saying quite a bit. Seriously you could blink and miss it.

Twin Forks at Avenue Theatre in Edmonton in November 2013

this restaurant sign going up just had me thinking about twilight.

Melt-in-your-mouth short ribs with steamed white rice and Napa cabbage with vinaigrette.

I know that most of the time it's pointless to take a food shot in a restaurant but I can't help myself. When I make reservations I always request to sit next to the window to at least attempt a good shot or two. It's still not easy, mainly because I don't like to raise the ISO or use a monopod. Can you imagine having a stick between your legs during dinner? (That didn't sound right.)

Francis Forkenmyer is lusting after the hottie down the hall.

But Franky Forker only goes for the skinny forks with big tines.

She is determined to transform herself to win the affections of her dream fork.

it may not be Columbus but this fork is beautiful! Zeus 2000 crown with Reynolds blades, I have to check but I think 531

There comes a time in every 365 when you take photos of forks.

Fork-tailed Drongo (Dicrurus adsimilis)

A series of manual macro shots of the most useful of cutlery: the fork. All taken with Olympus OM-D EM-5 body, Industar 61 manual Leica thread mount lens (designed in 1959; model used dated 1993) + adaptor, and a cheap set of extension tubes.

The result(s) - I'll let you be the judge of that but the ability to adjust the DoF and aperture whilst using the magnification mode allows for an amazing amount of creative control.

Some friends put this up for a friend who made a joke about the fork in the road. Eventually CalTrans and the City of Pasadena went along with it. They add other decorations according to season.
