The roof of this old care home had a great view of the nearby forest, there were so many chairs up here. I am sure the patients used to be wheeled up here and stuck under the roof to enjoy the view!

"School officials sent home 35 to 40 Forestview High School students Wednesday.
Some of those students have swine flu, also known as novel virus H1N1, according to Gaston County Health Director Colleen Bridger."
I know the H1N1 flu isn't all that much worse than the regular seasonal flu, but I'm still freaking out.

Phalaenopsis amboinensis, white or common form.
This is the second flowering of this clone, it currently has 3 flowers plus 3 buds on 1 branched inflorescence, plus another 2 flowers on another immature inflorescence. This plant likes to put out flowers! The form is a better better on its second flowering, but it still is not as large as the best clones (ns 5.1 cm Hz). Flat and very fragrant.
