Agasthyavanam Biological Park, a protected area in the Western Ghats, an area of 31 square kilometers, the park lies between the Neyyar and Peppara Wildlife Sanctuaries, established in 1997. Its name derives from the famous Agastimalai Agasthyakoodam Peak, which is visible at a distance from the park. Kottur Reserve forest is included in the Agasthyavanam Biological Park.

Ein schmaler, verwunschener Weg führt in die Tiefe des Bildes und verliert sich in einer sanften Unschärfe, die von einem helleren Licht am Horizont angezogen wird. Der Pfad ist dunkel und mit kleinen Steinchen oder Kies bedeckt, durchsetzt mit Moosflecken und einzelnen herabgefallenen Blättern, die eine natürliche Patina bilden. Zu beiden Seiten wird der Weg von hohen, dichten Hecken gesäumt, die eine tunnelartige Atmosphäre schaffen. Die rechte Hecke besteht aus dichtem, dunkelgrünem Nadelgehölz, das stark an Thuja (Lebensbaum) erinnert und akkurat geschnitten scheint. Die linke Seite präsentiert sich als eine Mischung aus verschiedenen grünen Sträuchern und Blättern, die etwas wilder und weniger uniform wirken. Das Bild transportiert eine geheimnisvolle, ruhige und einladende Stimmung, die zum Erkunden des unbekannten Endes des Weges verführt und den Titel "Ein verwunschener Weg" perfekt widerspiegelt.

We came to Nant Ffrancon with coffee and fruit, camera and GPS. Phase one was a chillout coffee break amongst the pretty mountains and valley. Phase two was to photograph some waterfalls or fall-lets. Phase three was to find a geocache. 100% success rate today.
A small waterfall cascades down layered rock formations in a lush, forested area. Water flows over and between the rocks, creating a series of small, cascading waterfalls. The surrounding vegetation includes ferns and other greenery, indicating a natural, undisturbed environment. No people are visible in the image.
