Woman looking for birds on a hiking trail In Grand River Community Park near Lansing, Michigan, USA

I'm fell in love with hiking recently. I'll hiking every weekend by myself.

I can totally feel relax and cheerful while hiking mountain around Taipei city in TAIWAN.

But I never stopped to rest (because the mountain is not high). And it will be a chance to rest.

alright so we're all

gonna die but now is the

time to sing & see, to be

humble, sacrificed, late,

crazy, talkative, foolish,

proud, indispensable, early

sane, silent, serious

Book of Sketches

Cooling off in the hamma Hamma River, along the Hamma Hamma Living Legacy Trail dedicated to the accomplishments of the CCC Boys during the Great Depression, Olympic National Forest, Washington State, USA,

I won’t tell you where the place is, the dark mesh of the woods

meeting the unmarked strip of light —

ghost-ridden crossroads, leafmold paradise:

I know already who wants to buy it, sell it, make it disappear.

And I won’t tell you where it is, so why do I tell you

anything? Because you still listen, because in times like these

to have you listen at all, it’s necessary

to talk about trees.

"I can tell you that solitude

Is not all exaltation, inner space

Where the soul breathes and work can be done.

Solitude exposes the nerve,

Raises up ghosts.

The past, never at rest, flows through it."

"Painters have a knowledge which goes beyond words. They are where musicians are. When someone blows the saxophone the sky is made of copper. When you make a watercolor you know how it feels to be the sea lying early in the day in the proximity of light."

Journey to Mount Tamalpais

Not far away the speeding traffic of M-37 hums. But this quiet space is not diminished.

Winding through beach trees and conifers a lovely autumn day.
