Taken in the beautiful Knole Park, Sevenoaks, Kent on 9.10.16

At a location called "The seven ponds"

I hope You like the photograph, I'm happy about every comment and favorite.

Panorama of the Milky Way in a typical forest in thuringia. Beautiful Airglow at the right side of the sky and last parts of the blue hour at the left side can be seen. Fog and grass are visible in the foreground.

It is not so much for its beauty that the forest makes a claim upon men's hearts, as for that subtle something, that quality of air that emanation from old trees, that so wonderfully changes and renews a weary spirit.

Lovely texture thanks to Jai Johnson.

So often as you begin to walk into the great forests of the Pacific Northwest, you get a sense of entering a forest primeval and that, like "Hansel & Gretel" you must not forget your bread crumbs. This photo was taken near Kalaloch on the Washington coast.

"Solitude is the soil in which genius is planted, creativity grows, and legends bloom; faith in oneself is the rain that cultivates a hero to endure the storm, and bear the genesis of a new world, a new forest."

The pine is the dominant tree of my region present in most forested areas. The plantation has begun for many years and for economic reasons, especially for timber and resin used as raw material for diverse products. The pines are also dangerous, because they drop needle-shaped leaves covering the ground with a "carpet" of leaves (as seen in the photo), which are very flammable and one of the main reasons of fires in the region.

This was taken at Titlow Park in Tacoma WA. during a golden sunset.

Wohl bin ich ein Wald und eine Nacht dunkler Bäume: doch wer sich vor meinem Dunkel nicht scheut, der findet auch Rosenhänge unter meine Zypressen.

If you could read their minds ... "just the three of us on this beautiful path through the forest ... and that guy following us with the camera"

The trees were smiling and shining brightly in the morning light.
