When I began this journey, I thought I'd have a simple education, and lead a simple life. Little did I know that Texas Tech PR would lead me to dream no little dreams... Clouds moving in after a respectable Saturday afternoon. Foreshadowing for the miserable morning we would awake to Sunday: 2C, 100% humidity, and rain.

Standing just off the pavement on a dirt road.

The road leads to a gate.

The gate opens on a trail.

The trail winds a way up the mountain,

to the very peak.

This day clouds brush the peak, yet in shadow.

Would like to be on that trail, again.

Not yet. Perhaps soon.

I hope.

It rained while I was out at a homeschooling planning meeting. Darren took pictures. I"m glad I didn't see this. He said the water "almost" came in the basement. Phew!

Time to get up and start the day. Hmmm, that looks like Bertie and Martin outside. what are those two troublemakers up to?
