No parking signs in front of an official building in Vienna, Austria, used to reserve parking lots for the representatives of different countries. There are always two identical combinations of signs, one at the beginning of the reserved space for a country ("Anfang") and one at the end ("Ende"). Funny. Somehow.

My mom just got back from Germany. In her tow were several boxes of "wafer cookies." She insisted that I must have one. Well, about two-thirds the way through, I thought, "Maybe I should take a picture of this." It's similar to our wafer cookies (you know, the ones that are usually yellow, pink, and brown), except it's only two layers of wafer and one layer of cream (plus the layers are much thinner). And it's about 8" across.
There's also a couple chocolate bars she gave me, but I haven't cracked into those yet.

Wednesday, 24 February 2016 — Chosen from nine nominees, Nippon Shokubai has won the much-coveted ‘Investment of the Year Trophy 2016’ at the 4th edition of the Foreign Investment Trophy. An initiative of Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT), this award honors the stand-out foreign investment in Flanders of the past year.
In addition, Swedish carmaker Volvo Cars received the Lifetime Achievement Trophy, paying tribute to a lifelong investment policy in Flanders.

I found an oriental food store up the road about 7 miles from me, and raided it for munchies. The cookie sticks in the cannisters look like pocky, but they're actually called "pepero" - I think they're Korean.
