There is also a path which crosses the 1st and 18th hole. Apparently people do not watch out too often for the golfers...they must be crazy!

That golf ball didn't miss me by much. Nonetheless, fun was had all around on Edgefield's par 3 12 Hole Course as Laura, Dave and I drank our way through some Sunday evening golf.

The backpack doesn't open until hole two, just out of sight of the clubhouse.

'Fore' is the word that is shouted. The definition of fore is 'located at or toward the front' and the term 'to the fore' means something that has moved into a position of importance. It would be safe to say that a struck golf ball that is moving towards someone is moving into a 'position of importance'. So 'FORE!' is shouted to alert the person that a ball is headed in their direction.

I thought It would be fun to play on words :)
