In my view one of Englands prettiest and most photogenic waterfalls. Absolutely loved shooting here and this was probably my favourite.
Very strong westerly winds are currently battering the Moray Firth. This made keeping the camera steady for 90 seconds a bit of a challenge. Fortunately, the Benro Mach 3 is a sturdy tripod and with a little extra weight on it, I managed to get an image without any motion blur. The low stormy light and fast moving clouds helped to create a really amazing atmosphere on the coast. Just the sort of conditions in which I love to work!

I posted this, or very similar a few years ago, It got into all the tabloid papers and even the Times.. Not because it was good, but because the waterfall was being sold. An estate agent asked if they could use the photo for the sale.. I gave them permission.. later I got an apology from them, somehow the papers got hold of the story and used the photo.. still my shot got a good airing :-)
