Another one of the many waterfalls in the Keld area photographed here on Stonesdale Beck just before it enters the Swale.
"Force" is local dialect for "falls", rather than referring to the power of the river! These are the lower of two sets of falls on the upper river Tees. The colour of the water is due to the high peat content, washed off the moors.

High Force, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in England, located at Forest-in-Teesdale, in the heart of the Durham Dales, Co. Durham.
Another day with a forecast of low cloud and >95% chance of rain. In these conditions there isn't much else other than fast flowing rivers that are worthwhile capturing.
Today, we travelled to Buttermere via Cockermouth and Crummock Water to reach the foot of Scale Force, a huge waterfall that sits in a gorge on red pike and feeds Crummock Water via Scale Beck. It's actually the tallest waterfall in the Lake District at 170ft tall.
I've been to Buttermere a number of times and never seen Scale Force flowing as quickly as it was today. We could even hear it from over 1/2 a kilometre away.
The Dettifoss waterfall located in the Vatnajokull National Park is reputed to be the most powerful waterfall in Europe.
I was able to view the waterfall from the east side which makes it easier to photograph due to the direction fo the spray of the waterfall. Also I think you have a better view from the east side.
The River Brathay tumbling over the Skelwith Force waterfall. The word 'force' derives from 'foss' the Viking word for waterfall.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. What a fun game. I was definitely inspired to make these figs by fjj customs on IG, using the Mando torso, the head for Juno, and the skate for PROXY. A solid group of figs in that post.
Left to right:
Force majeur refers to the pixels who were pulling me in directions I didn't think I was going until I got there. They know I'm a wimp. Then, as frosting on the cake, they made me apply this new plug-in lattice filter (which I secretly love). Anyway, in case you were wondering, this started out as a picture of the barn windows and delapidated roof.
"There he comes. Get ready! Three...two...one...RUN!"
Despite being known as one of the most strict masters of the order, master Windu frequently was the target for diverse pranks performed by the younger students, much to his annoyance. The other masters though, especially master Kenobi and Yoda always were amused by these incidents.

A little idea I had after reading some interesting head canons on tumblr.

Description: Group photograph of ACB-1 after the invasion at Inchon, Korea, September 1950.
On 15 September 1950 U.S. troops landed at Inchon in what has come to be known as one of the most brilliant amphibious assaults in history. Seabees achieved renown as the men who made it possible. Battling enormous thirty-foot tides and a swift current while under continuous enemy fire, they positioned pontoon causeways within hours of the first beach assault. Following the landing, the incident known as the "Great Seabee Train Robbery" took place. The need to break the equipment bottleneck at the harbor inspired a group of Seabees to steal behind enemy lines and capture some abandoned locomotives. Despite enemy mortar fire, they brought the engines back intact and turned them over to the Army Transportation Corps.
