Late afternoon at Trearddur Bay, Anglesey.... The weather front which had brought rain to the island on Sunday was passing over, but the winds were whipping up the high tide causing choppy conditions in the bay... Happy days (for a photographer!!)

So after finaly watching the new film today (which was awwwsome), I decided to remake Kylo's face once again, using an 'angry clone' as the template. This one is based heavily off TLG's angry Kylo head.

As for the film, I have to say, it really was brilliant. One of only a few negatives I have, is that there was no ground battle on Starkiller base... We see snowspeeders marketed through figures and lego.. but we didnt actually see one in action. Did any of you see them lol?

Other than that and the many original trilogy cameos.. the film was outstanding.. yet, im sorry to say, The holiday special beats all... lol

Mill Gill Force is a hidden waterfall in a lovely secluded pocket of woodland near Askrigg, Wensleydale. The gill gets it's name from the mill which stands half a mile downstream. Water crashes over the rocks dropping around 25 feet below before seeming to split into three and descend down a second drop of around 3 feet. It is a lovely waterfall that is best when combined with a trip to Whitfield Gill Force, a further kilometre along the footpath.

West Burton, North Yorkshire.

I don't know why but I completely missed some of the best shots I took during my trip to Fuerteventura the past summer! Here's one of them

RAF Tornado powers towards the airfield at RAF Leuchars..Full burner and wings swept to 67 degrees.

The most famous of the Lake District waterfalls, Aira Force drops an impressive 65 feet and is surrounded by pretty woodland. A short distance from the car park, this moderate 2 hour walk can be extended to High Force beyond or Gowbarrow fell.

Photos of this waterfall really don't do it justice its quite an impressive sight. Great walk too!

French Air Force Rafael "Dark Tiger" just landed at Mont de Marsan after a NATO Tiger Meet sortie. This aircraft is from the "Lorraine" Escadron de Chasse 3/30 Sqn based at Mont de Marsan. The unit 'Lorraine' is one of the first units of the liberated France. The unit originates in England in September 1940, and later evolves in Equatorial Africa, the Middle East and later Europe. Equipped with Hurricane fighters, Lysander observation Aircraft and Blenheim bombers. The name 'Lorraine' was chosen in September 1941 during their stay in Damascus.

Seen at the 2021 opening of the Sywell Aviation Museum is this World War 2 RAF Fordson Model N Tractor.

The RAF used large numbers of these tractors during World War II for many purposes including pulling bomb trolleys.

Fordson were an American company and were part of Ford's.

They also had a UK factory.

In 1964 the Fordson name was dropped and the Ford name was used.

One of my highlights of 2019 was seeing this 44-year-old 707 in action. Based with 120 Squadron, the 'Desert Giants' at Nevatim Air Base. Originally delivered in 1975 to the Government of Malaysia as 9M-TMS. After a spell in airline service, including with British Caledonian as G-CDHW, it was acquired by Israel Aircraft Industries in September 1996 and converted to a tanker for the IAF. The jet was at Waddington supporting the deployment of IAF F-15s to the Lincolnshire base for Exercise Cobra Warrior.

I didn't make it out this morning with my camera, so here an image from earlier in the week. The waves have been huge all week and I have watched them in awe. A force of nature so strong and not to be messed with! I love how the sea looks like a wall in the background...

Plus its another excuse to feature the lobster pot....

Order 66 wasn't easy for this clone!

My late dad was a bit into cameras and photography. He was not an expert in either; but when he came across an interesting item, he would not hesitate to buy it if the price was right.

I can't remember when he acquired this massive Kodak K24 Reconnaissance camera that was built to fit on military aircraft. It looks like this machine was used by both the USAF and the RCAF (Royal Canadian Air Force) based on the markings and labels. According to some literature, the camera contains a slight amount of mildly radioactive element called thorium. So far I haven't turned neon green (yet).

The tiny camera is a Universal Minute 16 spy camera.

The "normal" size camera is a Kodak Ref No. 114A/ AN2550 camera. According to my dad, it's also a special-build for the U.S. Army. But where is the viewfinder for that camera? I do not understand.
