I am behind in my uploads. And I personally think I look a bit like a tool in this photo (that hair styling does nothing for me) but I don't want to be too down on myself. There are a lotta copies of this out there and the original says cool instead. Oh, to be 20 again.

Fool because my Thirty Days of Copycats is kicking my ass. Today is Wednesday. Did I take this one on Sunday? We sold my dad's house on Sunday. Seven offers. It was overwhelming. On Monday my husband quit his job and decided to go full steam with his side business. Plus some other things. I'm waiting for it to settle. I'm a fool for choosing 30 days instead of 10. Or a week. I could always quit but I'm not at that point yet.

I would have put cool up there but I didn't have the look to pull of that caption.

Day nine of 30 copycats.

Original by Lauren Lemon. She was doing her 365 when I first joined Flickr. Her stuff raised my mental bar pretty high with regards to what a 365 of self portraits should look like... I still enjoy looking through that set.

The last Kickstarter Ignatz went out today. I know production issues are a thing everyone deals with, but it felt really personal to me. I'm eager to get past this problematic Ignatz run. I haven't wanted to do any business until I took care of all the Ignatz Kickstarter backers, though. It seemed rude not to focus on them first.

That said, I'm eager to move on to the next project. Anyone else as psyched about the Troika as I am? Mahogany body and neck. Rosewood fretboard. No neck binding. No pickguard. Lean and mean two-knob control array with three mini-toggles. Three P90 pickups. I liked the idea of three single-coil pickups in a guitar that isn't a Fender.

So here it is. The prototype is amazingly fun to play. Capable of a lot of interesting tones. Really, everything I hoped it would be. Hopefully some of you guys will want one as bad as I did.

Continuing on the theme, able to take the M5 and split between the northern part and southern part of the Rockies (Canadian and Colorado). This was the last roll until I had to send the camera away for a full CLA and meter repair, for which it was clearly due being in the wild for sometime. Lots of hiking but well worth it. Most of the time was overcast but did the best I could to capture with suboptimal light. I was inspired as usual with the flickeranians who do so well in the most trying of conditions - thanks for the continued inspiration!

Fooling Around, Colin, Alan, Roger. Pontin's Camber Sands, 30th, Sep, 1977

This is just a quick and dirty Photoshop visualization of a prototype I commissioned.

The idea is a neck-through Thinline Tele-style guitar with a mahogany body and a maple neck.

I've never really been a Tele guy, but this actually has me kind of excited.

I'm thinking that the clones should be banned from playing april fools jokes

It was pointed out to me, that I missed an opportunity with this shot, by not making the teenagers fooling around, the focal point.

So I cropped the picture and here we are. (Where would we be without the ctopping tool?)

More shots can be found in my AUTUMN ON SOUTHAMPTON COMMON SET.
