BUT STILL!
I want to thank each one of the people that decided my creations were worth to click the "+Follow" button and wait my photos to appear in their dashboards. However, 100 is just a number, and though I'm really grateful to have so many followers, I prefer quality than quantity. And my thanks go for you not for being 105 followers, but for being such amazing ones! I'm really happy with the love I have received in this community, not only comments but drawings, icons and even builds of my own characters!
From the bottom of my heart, dears, thank you very much. I hope you'll keep around like until now, and my creations won't dissapoint you! ^^
Lots of love! <3
Been saving these up for a special occasion, and 300 follower seems as good a reason as any...
Have a lovely weekend, all! Thanks for all the amazing comments you left.

I told the story for this on Instagram awhile back…but you, my faithful Flickr followers, deserve it…so here’s me telling the story a different way than I did there, less arch:
I went to a fancy restaurant with my old (and best) assistant Emily, I’d tried this place out before, but wasn’t quite sold on it. The owner had a spot in NY, best dessert of my life there, so I wanted to love this place.
We get there, and right away my eyes get tractor beamed to this statuesque woman waiting in front of us. “Tall glass of water,” I say to Emily. We end up going in front of her, she’s waiting for someone, seems like.
We didn’t make any reservations, it’s a Tuesday, dammit, but the place is still packed, all they have is a few seats at the “bar” which is really the counter, which is really just a place to squeeze a few extra seats…but fine.
We’re sitting there, I’m uncomfortable because I’m sitting with my back to the door, which I never like, my dad taught me to never do that, I suppose because one day I could be murdered by my enemies if I wasn’t always looking to see who was approaching me.
Note: no one hates me enough to stalk and kill me in a crowded restaurant. But instincts are instincts.
Add to that discomfort they’ve some kind of cheese percolating near us in the front of the kitchen…it smells like a dead body, folks. Trust me on this, I’ve smelled my share of dead bodies, this one rates with the “best” of them.
The night is not going well. I’m continually distracted by the corpse cheese, I’m uncomfortable in my skin because of all the movement behind me I can’t see…I’m actually tempted to eject from the whole evening, much of a weirdo as that would make me. Emily’s seen me do weirder!
I’m maybe 90 seconds from calling it, when they sit the tall glass of water right next to me. It takes me no more than another five minutes to realize that the only way for me to have a good time is to talk to this total stranger.
The bartender’s already asked if she wants a menu, that’s when she volunteers that she’s waiting for someone. But it’s well after the appointed hour, that I can tell, and the opening blooms in my mind: “how late are they?”
Turns out she’s on a blind date, the guy’s almost a half hour late. And with that, we’re off to the races. Emily and I start chatting her up, turns out she’s new-ish to LA, from Texas, by way of New York, works doing art department stuff for movies.
And hey, I do stuff for the movies, too!
She’s also into photography.
Hey, I’m into photography!
The blind date continues to not show up. She tells us she’s on a string of getting stood up, once here in LA, once before that in NY.
By the end of the night we know all about her, that she’s 6’2, only dates folks 6’ and above, how she’s liking LA, that this expensive restaurant wasn’t even her idea, we’ve laughed, the bartender’s brought her a bunch of free food, we’ve all schemed revenge on this guy WHO NEVER SHOWS UP OR TEXTS, stone-cold ghosts her. We hang out with her for almost two hours, I’ll tell ya, her bad luck saves my night, and I can say with certainty she had a grand time, as well.
I can say that because, of course, I was compelled, after I’d gotten home I hit her up on instagram, asked to take her picture. Had her come by my apartment, took this here Polaroid, we laughed about the night…and we’ve been friends ever since! She’s even assisted me on a few photo shoots, she’s actually an EMT herself, now!
It’s like I tell friends when they get discouraged about dating in the big city: even a bad date (or a total ghosting) can still lead to a good time, because a bad date = a good story. And in the end, it’s always about The Story.
Best part, maybe, once we all started chatting…I stopped smelling that damn cheese.
Thank you all so much for 1000 followers. Funny enough that in the same year I broke a million views, I've surpassed 1000 followers.
Five years ago this community was a very different place, and something I was reluctant to join. Early on I tried to make a name for myself in the Lego WW2 community. Two key people were a part of this process: Preston and Mason. They invited me to participate in OP Siege at BrickFair 2010. At that convention, not only did I get to know a ton of other builders, but also solidify my passion for the World War II theme. Both Preston and Mason were incredible builders back in the day, sadly Mason has since left Flickr. I can't thank them enough for what they did for me.
As a thank you to all of you and a challenge to myself, I've decided to embark on a project. That project would be the making of a King Tiger. It has been almost 3 years since I've built a heavy tank, so I've decided it's about time I have another go. I'll try to make it in camo instead of LBG.
I hope you all have a fantastic New Years. I will see you all in 2016 :)
Well, well, well, another year, another 100 followers. And again, I'm a little late to my own party. But boy, this is a big one. 500. That's an insane number of people that like my MOCs. And honestly... I don't even know what to say. So... um, let's hope my gratitude comes out in my usual manner.
As is traditional, let's start off with a look at my best creations, the list of which... hasn't changed much. With my declining activity, I guess I haven't turned out anything particularly interesting for a while... I do hope to remedy that soon.

Wowie! 300 followers, guys! I just want to thank you all so much for supporting me and letting me keep putting out great content! Man, it just feels like yesterday that I reached 300 photos... So thanks everyone for being super amazing! So let's get to 600 followers, shall we?
It would seem I have captured the eye of over 250 people with my art, all I have to say is thank you all for the continued interest in what I do!
Thanks to Kalilies <3. Also, I did not resolve eyelids issue. This affect all my characters in-game (also updated Sighne follower). Upper eyelids seems to disapear when you look at character from bigger distance... No idea what caused this and when... After or before I installed chargen extension? Or when I tried LadyHead? Noooo idea.... -.-.
Sorry about all the posts tonight its just that I have some images That I want to share and save here.
So who is your tower of strength?
This might sound strange but my feminine side is mine,, she has always been their for me no matter what, sure she has been a royal pain but I can always turn to her when I am in a dark place. of course my partner and daughter are pillars of strength the support I get from is amazing..
But the unsung hero's in all truth are you lot. your encouragement and words of wisdom over the years has helped me no end. So a big thank you to all my friends and followers, you are the best.
I have so many from this set to post but don't worry I will do one more from this set.

I'm back! I've spent nearly three months of designing and building my next tanks and here is the first product of my labour. Can you guess what tank it is?
Also, during my absence I have surpassed 100 followers! Many thanks to everyone who has supported me throughout this. Feel free to tag yourself in if you're following me!
I've got 100 followers now.
cool.
Thanks for being with me on this trip into seeing how big of a scene I can make in Stud.io before my PC dies lol
Here's to however long more I stay on this website dishing out digital lego.
Thank you so much for 300 followers!! I'm so glad that I found this community and to get to know all the amazing customizers and collectors on here.
When I went to work this morning I have instructed my assistants to prepare a build to celebrate I reached 100 followers. It's late and still they have not finished. I wonder what they have done throughout the day.
Cuando he ido a trabajar he encargado a mis asistentes que prepararan una construcción para celebrar los 100 seguidores. Es tarde y todavía no han terminado. Me pregunto lo que habrán hecho durante todo el día.
I would just like to thank you all for 150 followers! I couldn't get around to thanking for 100 followers (also a milestone), so I figured 150 followers would be the best time to do so. The Flickr community has welcomed me with open arms, and I'm very grateful for that!
Thank You,

BIBLICAL CONTEXT: Psalm 121:1-8 NLT
(from biblegateway.com)
A song for pilgrims ascending to Jerusalem.
1 I look up to the mountains—
does my help come from there?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth!
3 He will not let you stumble;
the one who watches over you will not slumber.
4 Indeed, he who watches over Israel
never slumbers or sleeps.
5 The Lord himself watches over you!
The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade.
6 The sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon at night.
7 The Lord keeps you from all harm
and watches over your life.
8 The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go,
both now and forever.

5 MORE THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW:
1. Like it or not, we are ALL sinners: As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous—not even one. No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one.” (Romans 3:10-12 NLT)
2. The punishment for sin is death: When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned. (Romans 5:12 NLT)
3. Jesus is our only hope: But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. (Romans 5:8 NLT) For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23 NLT)
4. SALVATION is by GRACE through FAITH in JESUS: God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. (Ephesians 2:8-10 NLT)
5. Accept Jesus and receive eternal life: If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9 NLT) But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. (John 1:12 NLT) And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life. (1 John 5:11-12 NLT)
Read the Bible for yourself. Allow the Lord to speak to you through his Word. YOUR ETERNITY IS AT STAKE!
For Monochrome Monday here's a little something different. This is just another wider frame of this historic scene that I've shared before. This one was rendered in sepia and vignetted to give it that old west feel at the suggestion of one of my followers some time ago. What do you think?
Getting this shot was the reason I made this trip. The culmination of a more than 500 mile chase from DeQuincy, LA and then a three night stay in this big dusty, gritty and fascinating border town all so I could capture this truly historic moment as Canadian Pacific 2816 steps out over the Rio Grande leaving US soil and is about to enter old Mexico at about 7:30 AM on a hot gray morning.
I've always had a fascination with rail border crossings and photographing trains crossing to or from Mexico has long been on my wish list, so what better excuse was needed than this?! Among the half dozen active rail crossings none is busier than this one, which also happens to be the first between the two nations dating from shortly after the 1881 arrival of the Texas Mexican Railway from Corpus Christi when the then 3 ft narrow gauge built the first rail crossing over the river here. The Tex Mex came under the control of the Mexican government which held the 162 mile long line from the Gulf Coast in trust. The line was standard gauged in 1902 and the present 1275 ft long combination deck and thru truss span was built in 1920.
Though owned by the Tex Mex most traffic to and from the bridge moved via the Missouri Pacific Railroad which traces its history back to 1881 when the International and Great Northern Railway arrived in Laredo from San Antonio not long after the Tex-Mex opened. The shortline's sleepy history all changed in 1996 when the Mexican government privatized its national railway system and awarded one of three concessions to a joint venture between Kansas City Southern and Transportación Maritima Mexicana which operated the railroad as Transportación Ferroviaria Mexicana (TFM). At the same time the UP was acquiring the SP and as a merger condition little Tex-Mex (which KCS had bought a 49% interest in one year prior) was granted trackage rights to Beaumont, TX and a connection with KCS. By 2005 KCS had bought out its partner and controlled 100% of Tex-Mex and TFM which it renamed Kansas City Southern de México, S.A. de C.V. (KCSM).
Finally on April 14, 2023 the Canadian Pacific Railway completed its acquisition of Kansas City Southern and its subsidiaries creating the CPKC, the first tri-national railroad with a 20,000 mile network stretching from Maine and Montreal to Vancouver and south to New Orleans and southwest to here and on to Monterrey, Mexico City and Veracruz on Mexico's Gulf coast and Lázaro Cárdenas on the Pacific. In front of the span can be seen the temporary construction bridge and some of the new girders for the parallel second main bridge that CPKC is building totally with private funding. With volume tapped out at 26 trains per day this span is projected to permit a doubling of that train count. This sure is a far cry from the days of the little known and sleepy Tex-Mex Railway, but assuredly William Jackon Palmer is looking down with a smile that his vision of a century and half ago has become a reality beyond even his lofty dreams.
Here's the official railroad press release on the project:
www.kcsouthern.com/media/news/news-releases/kansas-city-s...
Running as CPKC train B40B, the tri-national Final Spike special is led by famed CP 2816, the 'Empress', an H1b class 4-6-4 Hudson built by Montreal Locomotive Works in 1930. Orignally retired in 1960 after there decades of pulling CP passenger trains the locomotive was purchased by F. Nelson Blount for preservation as part of his Steamtown collection in Vermont. It later moved with the rest of the collection to Scranton until CP purchased it back from the National Park Service in 1998. Returned to service in 2001 she operated until 2012 when E. Hunter Harrison took the reigns at CP. Eight years later Keith Creel (EHH's successor) reversed course and she was fired up for a test run and then a second restoration began which was completed in 2023.
As a way of celebrating the approval and consummation of the Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern Railway merger on April 14, 2023 CPKC ran a tri-nation tour across the length of their newly combined network the following year. The trip began in Calgary on April 24th and concluded in Mexico City on June 7th before returning home for a total of three months on the road and 9000 miles round trip!
