Thank you all for the support, the encouragement, for the good words that warm the heart. For the fav's and the awards♥ Thank you for choosing to follow me and be part of this fascinating journey ♥ Special thanks to you M. for everything you do for me with love, without you I am nothing♥
It only took me two years, but I finally made it.
It's been an incredible journey getting from this to this, and I never could have gotten to the point that I'm at without the encouragement and support that you all have provided. I wish there was something I could do that's unique as a thank you, but I don't know what I'd do because I'm about as talented as a penguin, so I'm just going to say thank you one last time.
THANK YOU!
Today I looked at my account on flickr mobile (which is rare), and found out that I have 800 people calling me a contact! It means so much, and it's great that so many people have witnessed my shitty builds from the beginning get to where I am today. Over the past four years, I've made some really good friends and seen a lot of builders come and go, and I'd just like to say thanks. Couldn't get a pic that I liked tonight, so enjoy this old one.

A question to all my followers playing Horizon 4: Are you one of these people who just maxes every single car you own, so you can then drive around spamming head-to-head challenges at cars 3 or 4 classes slower than yours?
If you answered yes, why do you bother? It looks no fun at all and most of the people who do it, can't even drive the awful cars they've built (or auto-built). I dunno about you but I start getting frustrated when my car always understeers on every corner while also being uncontrollable when I get on the throttle. These idiots seem to make all their cars behave that way on purpose. I'm really glad collisions are turned off
Thank you so much to each and every one of my 1000 followers on Flickr! It means the world to me that you have chosen to join me on this journey. Your support allows me to continue creating and sharing content with all of you.

Ta'er Monastery, Xining, China.
As the religious activity center of both monks and followers of the Yellow Hat Sect (also named Gelugpa Sect, a branch of Tibetan Buddhism), the Ta'er Monastery (Kumbum Monastery) is located in Huangzhong County, Qinghai Province, 25 kilometers (about 16 miles) away from the capital city of Qinghai Province - Xining. In order to commemorate Tsong Khapa (1357-1419), founder of the Yellow Hat Sect, the Ta'er Monastery was built in 1577 more than 150 years after his death. Now it is considered a sacred place in China.
In the Tibetan language, Ta'er Monastery is called 'gongben', which means '10,000 figures of Buddha'. During its long 400 years of history, it has gradually become a place of interest for its distinct ethnic color and native style. The whole area covers more than 144 thousand square meters (about 36 acres) with mountains surrounding it. It has 9,300 rooms and 52 halls. Just judging from these figures, you can imagine what a splendid place it is. The Ta'er Monastery is a group of fine buildings in a combination of both the Han and Tibetan styles of architecture on the mountain slopes. It has lofty temples and halls rising one upon another. The palace buildings, Buddhist halls, sleeping quarters, as well as the courtyards echo each other and thus enhance the beauty of the whole area.

Wow that’s so cool! Thank you all guys!
I had and have so much fun producing and posting these images.
It's celebration time again! :D Nine days ago I've FINALLY reached two hundred followers on Flickr! I waited for it so long! It took me less than 2 years to reach this milestone (1 year 10 months 12 days), which is much faster than gaining the first hundred of followers (which took me almost 4 years).
Thank you to MO Glimpses, my 200th follower! :D
And huge thank you to ALL of my followers! Your faves and comments always make me so happy. =^_^=
Well, I just checked, and my Flickr is still less popular than my YouTube channel (245 subscribers right now), which is sad, because I didn't post there for years, and I post here weekly. So please follow me to balance this! :)
I wanted to make a special tribute, like I did for my first hundred followers, so I thought making glowing numbers would look cool. Unfortunately, the shot was too dark (I was going to take a brighter picture too, but a few pieces fell like dominoes by accident, and I was too lazy to stage everything again, because I thought I will fix the light in post like always), and I lost too much quality when I was trying to make it brighter digitally.
So now it looks not like I wanted, so please check out my other pictures (like The Albatross), I swear they have much better quality than this one! ;)
P.S. If you don't follow me yet, please check my about page and my album The Best of my LEGO Photos, I post my quality content there! ;)
All my life I have been fascinated with fantasy literature and movies. From DandD through to Magic the Gathering, I have always had a love for the fantastical and magical. I guess I find the made up worlds of imaginations preferable to our own reality. But sometimes, the worlds of the mind cross over into the world of the real ( how can it not, most worlds are based, in part on what their authors see around them).
I had a discussion today with a follower and he raised the question in my mind of what is MY style. I guess my influences are the magical tales of deep green forests far far away and misty woods inhabited by all sorts of strange and wonderful beings.
This iamge reminds me of the scene in LOTR where the Ents gather to discuss how to deal with Saruman and his Goblin armies laying waste to their forests for their own fires and war machines. I hope you like it.
