This Heron was sitting on a bouy in the morning fog keeping a sharp eye on me as I put my kayak in the water.

Here you can see the daylight and the fog. Vegetation is amazingly lush and dense.

The bridge had a section where you could stand out a bit to the side to get a view like this.

Ok, so usually there is a field and a large wooded area visible through that gateway but it didn't look quite so inviting on this day. And I was staying on this side of the gateway thank you !
