The picture is taken at the end of the Lysefjord and well hidden inside the fog, you will find both Preikestolen (The Pulpit Rock) and Kjerag Bolten. (The Kjerag Boulder) The boulder is wedged between two mountainsides and if you feel for it, you can take the step and stand on the boulder / rock which is suspended nearly 1000 meters above sea level.
Snapped on a morning walk through the list at the Duecht Estatez with the sun rising off picture to the right.

Early morning mist lifting in a view looking east to south east on the way up to Craig Cau on a very early ascent of Cadair Idris. The sun was well above the horizon but the sky still had colour left from sunrise. In the middle is the ridge above Bwlch Talyllyn followed by the Aberllefenni hills with Waun Oer 670m the high point on the ridge on the left, prominent behind it is Maesglasau 674m. The weather at the time was very hot, so to avoid the heat it was better to start early, after Cadair Idris I continued westwards along the superb ridge over Tyrrau Mawr and Craig y llyn to end the day on the coast at Llwyngwril without seeing anyone else all day.
Stunning fog scenery that morning. Only thing missing here is a roe deer or wild boar in the empty space to the right of the trees... o well, maybe next time :)
I love the fog we get. This was some ground fog this AM that was over the property. When it was retreating it created a separate patch behind our north gate.
I used a 1.4X Pentax Teleconverter on this lens to bring it closer.
The fog never lifted today. The most obvious trip with the camera was the one to the park, but then I remebered the cemetery. It was bitterly cold, and the place completely deserted but not quiet as water was dripping off the trees and making eerie noises. I grabbed a few shots and hurried back onto the road and to the comfort and warmth of my car.
