On Saturday we went to see the dance performance of the Uzumaru Yosakoi team in San Francisco's Japantown. It was a very lively performance with lots of energy, well done!
I processed a photographic and a balanced HDR photos from a RAW exposure, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

Young canadian eagle owl. It is one of the largest species of owl, and females can grow to a total length of 75 cm (30 in), with a wingspan of 188 cm (6 ft 2 in), males being slightly smaller. It is a mostly nocturnal predator, hunting for a range of different prey species, predominately small mammals.
Besides, this shot was taken free hand with 1/20s at 300mm. Stabilizer is defintely working well... :o)

These two crocuses keep their focus towards the site where the sun will be and if that means they have to grow in this angle, it just happens. Fascinating how nature works ;-))
I realize that in these dire times I am truly blessed with having a lot of wildlife around my house and while obeying the rules set upon us by the Dutch government to stay at home, I can still go out photographing without meeting other people.
And with spring just around the corner, also my favorite Kestrel couple returned to the nest!! Spent a few days in my little hide to take shots of the male courting the female. Hopefully they'll have a successful nest as last year they broke up before they had any chicks.
Therefore.. although they don't seem to notice me sneaking up to the hide, I'll leave them alone until the female is well and truly nesting to not interrupt their courting. Who needs onlookers when you try to persuade a lovely lady to become the mother of your children! :-)
Hopefully will be continued!
Stay safe everyone!!
