Tonight I was blessed with with some fantastic light at sunset. The clouds looked like they were on fire towards the west south west where the sun was setting. What was interesting when you looked to the west the sky was blue and cloudy. When you looked to the west north west the sky was on fire again. It wasn’t until I looked back that I realized I was standing in virtually the same spot as my photo yesterday. The difference was time and direction.
This is from my archive photos. I saw this advertisement in Warsaw, Poland. and loved it. I translated it to Use our deodorant or smell like pig. When I got home I used a translater. It translated your smell, your business card. You can see the Soviet era Palace of Culture reflected in the glass covering the advertisement. Funny no matter how you read it. #fmsphotoaday #fmspad

I did this today. I watched a wildfire spring up and spread along the hogback. This year, we’ve had 0.3” of snow in Denver. We normally would have had 20” of snow by now. The grass lands are bone dry and ready to burn in an instant. Who says global warming is a hoax?

FMS Photo A Day - March 10 - Cafe. When I travel i always visit the Hard Rock Cafes. I collect their tee shirts and coffer mugs. This is the one in Nashville. It’s also a great spot to Uber drop offs and pick ups in Nashville. #fmsphotoaday #fmspad
Luckily, this tree is not in my yard so I won’t have this big dump of leaves to deal with next week. We do have one of these autumn blaze maples in our yard but I figure it is about 5-7 years younger than this. I should be retired by the time I have to do some serious raking with our tree.

I decided to do a different spin on Dark. I decided to use my dark skin #melaninpoppin dolls to represent dark. Dark doesn’t have to be a negative thing.. I think my siblings are positively perfect 😁 Ezra and Leiah
I looked out of the window into the garden this morning and saw a ton of butterflies in the bushes we have out back. At lunchtime, I went down to photograph them. You know the old adage which says take the shot while you have it, it’s true. There was not a butterfly to be seen by 12:30. Instead, the bushes were alive with these little fellows. Some were huge and fluffy like this guy. Others were slim, svelte, and shiny. All of them were being industrious jumping from flower to flower.
