I went into my garden this morning hoping to find something exciting to shoot that is alive and only came across one drone fly so shot it. I took some pictures yesterday of a bush and only when looking at it on the computer I spotted a Lady Bird. Now if only I had spotted it on the camera! Well the summer is still to come so hopefully I will find more exciting things in my garden to shoot like lady birds, butterflies and creepie crawlies...lol

(72/365) I found this tiny Ant mimic fly today on an Ivy leaf, it's body is about 3mm long, about the size of an ant surprisingly enough! Possible ID is Sepsis fulgens. Happy Fly Day Friday!

Hmmm Not sure what this fly is. It was so golden sitting there on the flower.

Happy I was able to capture this Eagle on his fly over. It’s been months since I was able to hang with the wildlife.

An eastern phoebe launches from its perch in pursuit of a fly. This was a lucky shot and not perfectly in focus, but I do admire my flickr friends who manage to catch small birds in flight in perfect focus.

I spied a fly fisherman on the opposite bank of the Thredbo River in Kosciuszko National Park and had to have a photo. An instant later and he was gone without a trace. Did I look like a Fisheries inspector, could his fishing licence have expired? Watever his reason, he wasn't waiting around to have a chat.

In our dreams we are able to fly… and perhaps this is a reminder of how we were meant to be.
