..and another memory escapes me (www.adp-photography.com)
Sadly didn't catch the bird perfectly, but I still like the shot...
A symmetric view in monochrome over one of the "Osterseen" - a group of little lakes in Bavaria (Germany) in the south of Munich.
The photo reminds me somehow of a treasure island. But as the whole region is a wildlife sanctuary, I did not start a treasure hunt :)
Have a nice Sunday!

Black and White Studies
I like to create Black and White images where I can. These are just a few that have been taken lately, chosen at random, no general theme, just as they come.
A view of Belmont Bay from Virginia's Mason Neck State Park. This was taken from the Bayview Trail. A 1.02 mile easy trail that skirts the bay and the marsh. #MasonNeckStatePark #Virginia #nature #Natur #Fujifilm #BelmontBay #baie #water #Wasser #eau #Bucht #入口 #ハイキング #草木 #plants #Pflanzen #végétaux #StratocumulusClouds
The walking trail looking toward Trevelgue Head. Trevelgue Head, also known as Porth Island, is a headland north-east of Newquay, Cornwall. As you can imagine, some beautiful views to be had from the top of the hill.
One from the archive...taken in the afternoon on my return road trip from Adelaide to Melbourne.
It is the red algae (Dunaliella salina), that grows in the water, which gives the lake its pink hue.
Many thanks for your visit, comments, invites and favs...it is always appreciated.
Happy Travel Tuesday
Quayside, Norwich taken from Fye Bridge with a view of Norwich cathedral. In medieval times shell fishermen unloaded their catch here and it was a busy port up until the nineteen century. With its attractive coloured buildings it is a much desired location in Norwich. The pastel blue merchants house at 8 Quayside was on the market for £750,000 in 2021.
Breaking news : another peaceful day on the coast at North Norfolk - sea, sand and sky. Looks can be deceptive and over the years the RNLI at Cromer and Sheringham have saved countless lives.
Taken for the Crazy Tuesday theme of within a 5 minute walk. The most interesting thing for me is that it isn't raining for once!!! Taken just outside my house along the dockside.
After so long up in the clouds, clarity's so strange - so simple. Feeling so suppressed such a long time it started feeling like mine. Close your eyes and let a new day take you to better skies. Take the clarity and it shan't be a rarity. Make it yours and see that it cures.

I took about 6 different aspects of the Tate Gallery and all have their differences and in due course I will scatter them throughout the tour. This one however epitomizes St Ives for me the most because I felt so fortunate to get both Seagulls and a typically, for St Ives blue sky with fluffy clouds....
Tate St Ives is an art gallery in St Ives, Cornwall, England, exhibiting work by modern British artists with links to the St Ives area. The Tate also took over management of another museum in the town, the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, in 1980.
I want to thank you for showing me so many shades of grey the last couple of months, but now the time has come to dip your brushes in the blue paint.
A bit of fluffy clouds and a tiny breeze are allowed.
Attached i send you an example of the sky i'm longing for.
Thanks for the cooperation :-)
Salisbury Cathedral
The main body was built in the early 13th century and apparently has the tallest church spire in the UK which was adding in the 14th (I think).
Reflections on Caban coch reservoir, Powys, Wales, UK
Caban Coch is part of a series of Elan Valley Reservoirs that include the Claerwen, Craig-goch, Pen-y-garreg and Garreg-ddu.
The man-made lakes were built to provide drinking water for the people of Birmingham, the reservoirs are owned and managed by Welsh Water.
Dark clouds with a tint of white can fool almost anyone. As beautiful and non threatening as these clouds can be, they are quick to change to oh run here comes severe weather.
Cregennan lakes, Snowdonia, Gwynedd, Wales, UK
Nice up Cregennan this afternoon but cold in the wind up there, didn't hang about too long !
Same great sky as Last Rays, just more to the east.
Please listen to this if you have time, it will make you smile :-) www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0pWejAnLUQ
