Last night, we heard a cat fight outside. Found this this morning in the dewy grass. I suspect it belongs to Molly, next doors cat.

Here's some fluff for the flickr stream... taken on a drive yesterday roaming the fields of Stouffville. The mix of sun and cloud was the perfect mix for some new additions to my landscape portfolio.

On a pleasant Friday afternoon of unseasonable temperatures, I ventured out to Meadow Park in Elkton for a photo op.
Past a bunch of pine trees there is this huge pond in the marshes of the park. I'm guessing it's called Beaver Pond because of a sign on a nearby pavilion.
I'd seen it in years past, but never thought about shooting it until today. I made it a point to stop while driving through.
These phragmites appear here to be giant trees, but are more like giant weeds of the marsh.

Sulphur-Crested Cockatoos have a whole new facial expression when they fluff up their feathers to keep their beak warm.

The regular viewing of the same species throughout the seasons helps one to really learn how their plumages change as the birds age. This appears to be an adult bird... it's well groomed, the marking patterns are sharp, and there is no visible feather fluff. They are up here (8600 ft,msl) year round, but many will head lower for easier pickings in the winters. They are regular annual vertical migrators.

The micro fluff is the newest (and smallest!) member of the Pocket Fluff family!
This little one is about 1 inch tall and 1.5 inches wide.
He's made of an orange faux fur.
His face was hand painted by me using artist quality acrylics and sealed with a matte varnish.
Pocket Fluffs are able to stand on their own. :)
The Pocket Fluff Monsters are made from my original design.
****Please Note:
The micro pocket fluffs are VERY small. I only recommend this size for adult collectors.****
