Here's some fluff for the flickr stream... taken on a drive yesterday roaming the fields of Stouffville. The mix of sun and cloud was the perfect mix for some new additions to my landscape portfolio.

When I was out and about yesterday I came upon this among the berm on Grandview in University Place. I don't know what type of plant this is. At first I thought it was a dandelion, but I'm not so sure. I tried shooting this in macro and just couldn't get a clear shot; too much breeze and no tripod at hand. So instead, I zoomed in at either 33x or 48x.
At any rate, I like the little yellow ends on this ball of fluff :-)

For over a fortnight now the willow trees opposite have been shedding tons of fluff. It gets just everywhere. The warmer the day the faster it comes. Sometimes it looks like an absolute blizzard.
I think maybe it is slowing down now - so maybe soon we will see the end of it.
