In the wintry light and bokeh, the Sony equipment captured this sparrow feather details very nicely. Recommend viewing large to take in those details. The range of color and patterns in these feathers is really pretty under the right conditions.

The Anna's hummingbirds over winter in our area. Last nite we had one of our rare snowfalls. This little bird was doing a lot of sitting probably to conserve energy. It has its feathers all fluffed up to make it look almost twice its usual size.

This isn't a dandelion. What kind of flower does this besides dandelions? I can't figure out which flower turned. It's bigger and sturdier than a dandelion.

EDIT -- just figured it out. It's yellow salsify.

Well I'm trying to be more festive lol. Some fun with my phone, have to be quick with Olive lol, but that photo of her is adorable and a miracle :) Evie is a star, used to being a model. So far Olive has explored the tree etc but not destroyed or pinched anything (apart from the toy hedgehog!)

They both had fun this morning on the fields (video adjacent)

This picture is for the group Happy Caturday and this week the theme is "Patterns & Paws".

Elijah decided to sit still long enough to get a photo of his cute paws and fluffy sides. :) He and Noah have an identical black circle in the same place which you can see on Elijah's left side (the right side in this picture)... directly behind his arm. I always thought that was kind of neat.
