They all tried to hide for me when I took the shot. They were the ONLY people I saw all day wearing surgical masks, and were not happy about me shooting them.

Got my flu shot today. I got the flu last year (H1N1 most likely since I never get the flu with or without a flu shot and I was wiped out for *weeks*). I made sure I will NOT be getting it this year!

every time i cough i feel like i'm going to die and have to double over and lean/fall against something. it's so bad that i've managed to gain some control over my cough reflex, so most of the time i can breathe through it the urge, but every time i sniffle or blow my nose or lean forward i have a fit.
i have a 101 degree fever, on a thermometer that usually reads low, even after taking advil. aleve didn't work either. i haven't had a fever since chicken pox, age 5.
i had to do a load of laundry today because i was all out of clean handkerchiefs. it has never been so hard to do a load of laundry in my life. i have never been so happy to own 20 hankies in my life.
my eyeballs are sore and feel like they're going to fall out. i have no appetite. i hurt everywhere. i have dropped more things in two days than i had in the previous 2 months, including a coffee mug and my camera.
I got my flu shot today. I couldn't take a photo of myself getting a shot but this nice woman let me photograph her.

West Junior High School doors are closed for the day on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012 in Columbia, Mo. The school is one of multiple schools in Columbia, Mo. where students and faculty are now able to receive flu vaccines.
