A leftover from a walk this past summer. I usually overlook a plant like this, but up close it seems so interesting-especially in this stage with the fruit and petals both visible. (I guess it can be nasty though if ingested and harmful if the sap gets on your skin!)
I remember my mum curling her nose at the smell of these plants, describing it like “Tom cats”. Others ( me included) like the herby like smell.
Flowering mustard and fruit trees among dormant zinfandel vines make up the beauty found in Sonoma Wine Country.
Just around the corner is a tree that has started to bloom but I have no Idea what it is... Any help would be appreciated .. :-)

Busy time these days, when on a photo hike. Seems like everything is popping up and popping out, and the scene changes every hour.
A drive up to Mt. Coot-tha was another rewarding experience. The flowering Gums caught my eye straight away ! At 'home' amongst 'fellow' Gums. The beauty of Australia.
