Photograph taken at 12:14am on September 8th 2012 during a stop on the Derwentwater Launches around the lake at the Lodore Falls ferry landing just off the B5280. Located behind the Lodore Falls Hotel near the Grange end of Derwentwater, the waterfall, is formed by the beck from Watendlath Tarn cascading over huge boulders for a distance of some 100 feet.
The Lake District, Cumbria, England.
Sadly I did not take my tripod that day, so hand held shots of the cascading water had to suffice.

After the previous day's heavy summer rain, the Skillerälven river flows rapidly through a bottleneck, where it cuts through the town of Filipstad.
The last of the gathered honey runs from the tap for filtering and bottling. We are novices at bee keeping and the hives we have were not looked after properly by the last owners. It was hard to get the lid of the box because the bees has filled that space with honeycomb and honey - not a text book operation I'm afraid. We hope to get it into proper order over the next few checks.
The life of bees has astounded curious minds for thousands of years. Scientists still study them today. Theirs is such a complex society formed so long ago by one very clever Creator.
