Übrigens, weil gefragt wurde ... der Alpenstrandläufer kommt nicht in den Alpen vor, niemals. Er hat seinen irreführenden Namen vom schwedischen Taxonom Carl von Linné, der ihn in den lappländischen Alpen beobachtet hat.
Hier, je suis resté 4 heures pour assister à cette belle scène de vie animalière que j'affectionne particulièrement car ce sont des oiseaux que j'aime beaucoup observer à distance..!!
Les grèbes se relaient sur le nid et le consolide...
Il y a quatre oeufs ....
Il faudra attendre la naissance des grèbes huppés.....
C'est la première couvée de ces grèbes huppés.
J'espère assister aux naissances.

Le nid peut reposer sur un fond vaseux mais il est conçu en principe pour affleurer la surface.
Il peut également flotter mais il est alors arrimé à une souche ou à un paquet de végétaux entremêlés.
Les adultes en garnissent la coupe peu profonde de végétaux qui servent à recouvrir les œufs si les adultes s'absentent du nid. La ponte est composée de 3 à 6 œufs blancs qui virent ensuite au brun et deviennent de ce fait plus discrets.
Les adultes couvent en se relayant toutes les quelques heures. L'éclosion intervient au bout de 28 jours.
Les jeunes sont capables de nager aussitôt mais ils restent dépendants de leurs parents plusieurs semaines.

Yesterday, I stayed 4 hours to attend this beautiful scene of animal life that I particularly like because they are birds that I really like to observe from a distance..!!

The adults fill the shallow cup with plants which are used to cover the eggs if the adults are absent from the nest. The laying is composed of 3 to 6 white eggs which then turn brown and therefore become more discreet.
Adults brood taking turns every few hours. Hatching occurs after 28 days.
The young are able to swim immediately but they remain dependent on their parents for several weeks.

C'est le plus petit et le plus trapu des grèbes. Il est immédiatement identifiable à sa petite tête ronde, son petit bec mince aux commissures pâles souvent visibles et son inimitable façon de flotter comme un bouchon, l'arrière du corps tronqué. En période nuptiale, le castagneux se reconnaît à ses joues, sa gorge et son avant du cou brun-roux contrastant avec le reste du plumage brun sombre et la tache jaune pâle qui marque la commissure du bec. En plumage d'hiver, le castagneux revêt une coloration assez uniforme. Le contraste entre la gorge, l'avant du cou et les flancs chamois d'une part, et la calotte, la nuque et les parties supérieures brunes d'autre part, est moins net. La tache claire aux commissures s'estompe et est à peine visible. En période hivernale, la confusion est toujours possible avec le grèbe à cou noir et, dans une certaine mesure avec l'esclavon. Cependant, des détails permettent d'établir une distinction : la taille est nettement inférieure, l'avant du cou et les flancs chamois (et non pas grisâtres), le cou plus court, le bec plus droit et la calotte plus plate.

Den im Rahmen des Pilotversuches 9€ Ticket als Entlastung zur RE-Linie 1 eingesetzte RE 59676 von München HBF nach Nürnberg HBF konnte ich am Abend des 21. August 2022 bei der Durchfahrt durch den idyllisch gelegenen Ort Solnhofen im Altmühltal fotografieren. Es führte die 111 066 von smart rail, die somit mal wieder einen Einsatz hatte, wie er zu Anfang bis zur Mitte ihrer Laufbahn üblich war. Sieben Schnellzugwagen mit Reisenden galt es ohne Halt in flotter Fahrt von der Isar in die fränkische Metropole zu befördern.
On the evening of 21 August 2022, I was able to photograph RE 59676 (additional train for users of the 9€ ticket) from Munich to Nuremberg as it passed through the idyllic village of Solnhofen in the Altmühl Valley. It was led by smart rail's 111 066, which thus once again had an operation as it was usual in the beginning to the middle of its career. Seven express train carriages with passengers had to be transported from the Isar to the Franconian metropolis without stopping.

Der Einsatz der gepflegten 218 435 vor dem IC 2085 nach Oberstdorf motivierte mich am 23. Oktober 2021 zu einem Besuch am Ruderatshofer Weiher. In flotter Fahrt und pünktlich passierte der "Nebelhorn" die bei vielen Eisenbahnfreunden bekannte Fotostelle.
The use of the well-maintained 218 435 in front of the IC 2085 to Oberstdorf motivated me to visit the pond near the small village of Ruderatshofen on 23 October 2021. The "Nebelhorn" passed the photo spot, which is well-known to many railway enthusiasts, at a brisk pace and on time.

Bei Mellatz konnte ich den über die Allgäubahn umgeleiteten IC 119 ein zweites Mal aufnehmen. Die 218 488 von Railsystems und die 218 055 der Press fahren in flotter Fahrt ihrem Ziel Lindau entgegen, das in wenigen Minuten erreicht sein wird. Die alte Stampfbetonbrücke, die auf der Aufnahme zu sehen ist, hat erfreulicherweise bisher der Modernisierung getrotzt (06. Januar 2020).
At Mellatz I was able to photograph the IC 119, which was redirected via the Allgäu railway, for a second time. The 218 488 from Railsystems and the 218 055 from the Press are heading towards their destination Lindau, which will be reached in a few minutes. The old tamped concrete bridge, which can be seen on the photo, has fortunately defied the modernization so far (January 06, 2020).

Cet étrange bouquet aux allures pop de 7 mètres de haut est une référence aux paysages merveilleux de la contrée imaginaire et utopique de Shangri-La. Les tulipes sont devenus l’un des symboles de Lille depuis Lille2004 Capitale Européenne de la Culture.
La tour du Crédit Lyonnais s’inscrit, dans le plan d’urbanisme de Rem Koolhaas à Euralille, sur un alignement de grands bâtiments tenus dans le même gabarit théorique. Celle-ci a la particularité de passer au-dessus de la gare qu’elle franchit en pont, sans appui intermédiaire. Christian de Portzamparc a donné une image forte à cette tour qui est la réponse formelle à un programme où le maximum d’interdits et de difficultés techniques se trouvaient concentrés, obligeant à sortir des normes fonctionnelles et commerciales. En effet, le projet est l’exacte résolution d’une équation qui met en jeu de multiples contraintes :
– faire un bâtiment-pont au-dessus de la gare de 70 mètres de long et atteignant en un point au moins la hauteur de 100 mètres tout en ne dépassant pas 14.600 m² de surface
– tourner le maximum de bureaux vers le centre de Lille et non vers les voies
– se poser sur des fondations étroites entre le métro, le train et les stationnements souterrains
La solution est cet angle direct, ample, « rapide », à la fois pont et tour, s’évasant et s’orientant ainsi au sud, vers la ville. Et ce grand angle dressé semble flotter et non peser sur ses bases. Dans ce trait unifié, la tour a un effet de présence énigmatique, flottant, qui change de sens le jour et la nuit : ligne horizontale puis oblique qui se redresse, objet prêt à l’envol et néanmoins immobile.

This strange, 7-meter-high pop-like bouquet is a reference to the marvelous landscapes of the imaginary and utopian land of Shangri-La. Tulips have become one of the symbols of Lille since Lille2004 European Capital of Culture.
The Crédit Lyonnais tower is part of Rem Koolhaas' urban plan in Euralille, on an alignment of large buildings held in the same theoretical template. This has the particularity of passing over the station which it crosses on a bridge, without intermediate support. Christian de Portzamparc gave a strong image to this tower which is the formal response to a program where the maximum of prohibitions and technical difficulties were concentrated, forcing to go beyond functional and commercial standards. Indeed, the project is the exact resolution of an equation that brings into play multiple constraints:
– make a building-bridge above the station 70 meters long and reaching at one point at least the height of 100 meters while not exceeding 14,600 m² of surface
– turn as many offices as possible towards the center of Lille and not towards the tracks
– land on narrow foundations between the metro, train and underground parking lots
The solution is this direct, ample, “fast” angle, both bridge and tower, widening out and thus orienting itself to the south, towards the city. And this upright wide angle seems to float and not weigh down its bases. In this unified line, the tower has an effect of enigmatic, floating presence, which changes direction day and night: horizontal line then oblique which straightens, object ready to take flight and nevertheless immobile.

Der RE 4074 von München HBF nach Passau wurde am 15. März 2020 als "Sandwich"-bespannte Doppelstockwagengarnitur geführt. Bei Hausbach hat der Zug sein Ziel bald erreicht. In flotter Fahrt geht es am Ufer der Donau entlang und die älteste niederbayerische Rundkirche wird passiert. Am Zugschluss befand sich die gut im Lack stehende 111 022, inzwischen eines der ältesten elektrischen Triebfahrzeuge, welche die Deutsche Bahn im Bestand hat.
The RE 4074 from Munich main station to Passau was operated on 15 March 2020 as a "sandwich" covered double-decker coach set. Near Hausbach the train was only a few minutes away from its final destination. The train ran quickly along the banks of the Danube and passed the oldest Lower Bavarian round church. At the end of the train there was the 111 022, which is now one of the oldest electric traction vehicles that Deutsche Bahn has in its fleet.
Mit sechs Wagen und nur einer Lok wies der EC 195 genau die richtige Länge für das Motiv mit Blick auf die kleine Ortschaft Zell auf. In flotter Fahrt nähert sich die 218 430 Oberstaufen und überholt dabei einen Traktor, der mit der Heuwende beschäftigt ist (25. Juni 2020).
With six cars and only one locomotive, the EC 195 had exactly the right length for the motif with a view of the small town of Zell. The 218 430 is approaching Oberstaufen, overtaking a tractor that is busy turning the hay (June 25, 2020).

Turenne, classé parmi les Plus Beaux Villages de France et situé au sud de Brive, porte le nom d’une puissante vicomté ayant régné sur le Limousin, le Périgord et le Quercy durant dix siècles.
Installé sur un promontoire, le village de Turenne et sa région bénéficièrent de privilèges capitaux. Suite au remariage d’Aliénor d’Aquitaine avec le futur roi d’Angleterre, une guerre franco-anglaise déchira la région durant trois siècles. Saint Louis, pour garder un pied français dans cette partie « anglaise », décida de donner au vicomte de Turenne des droits régaliens qui firent de la vicomté un Etat dans l’Etat. Turenne fut aussi un refuge pour les protestants durant les guerres de religion.
Turenne conserve de nombreuses traces de son histoire. En empruntant les ruelles étroites et abruptes de Turenne, le visiteur voit encore flotter les drapeaux de cette célèbre vicomté. Les maisons nobles aux toits de lauzes ou d’ardoises et coiffées de tours en poivrière, s’étalent de la partie ancienne du XIIIème siècle jusqu’à la partie plus moderne qui date du XVIIIème.
Portant le nom d'une puissante vicomté ayant régné sur le Limousin, le Périgord et le Quercy durant dix siècles, Turenne a gardé de nombreuses traces de son histoire : les tours César et du Trésor, vestiges du château dominant le village, d'anciens hôtels particuliers des XVe au XVIIe siècles ornés de tourelles ou d‘échauguettes et des demeures plus simples aux toits couverts de lauzes ou d'ardoises...
Turenne, classified among the Most Beautiful Villages of France and located south of Brive, bears the name of a powerful viscount who ruled Limousin, Périgord and Quercy for ten centuries.
Installed on a promontory, the village of Turenne and its region benefited from capital privileges. Following Eleanor of Aquitaine's remarriage with the future King of England, a Franco-English war tore the region apart for three centuries. Saint Louis, in order to keep a French foothold in this "English" part, decided to give the viscount of Turenne sovereign rights which made the viscounty a state within a state. Turenne was also a refuge for Protestants during the wars of religion.
Turenne retains many traces of its history. By taking the narrow and steep streets of Turenne, the visitor can still see the flags of this famous viscount flying. The noble houses with slate or slate roofs and topped with pepper-pot towers, stretch from the old part of the 13th century to the more modern part which dates from the 18th century.

Am 07. September 2024 brachte die 101 033 einen D 13406 von Ötztal nach Düsseldorf. Bei Wettelsheim konnte ich den langen privaten Reisezug aufnehmen, der sich nach längerer Wartezeit mit Signalabgabe ankündigte und in flotter Fahrt aus dem Bahnhof Treuchtlingen heraus beschleunigte.

In flotter Fahrt konnte am 06. Mai 2020 die 139 260 mit ihrem DGS 43119 von München Ost Rbf nach Verona Q.E. die Langsamfahrstelle zwischen Grafing und Aßling passieren, wurde sie doch über das nicht beeinträchtigte Gegengleis geleitet. Mit ihren neuen Griffstangen, die aufgrund einer neuen Sicherheitsrichtlinie angebracht wurden, wirkt die Einheits-E-Lok recht gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die übrigen 139er von Lokomotion bleiben von solchen Umbauten bisher glücklicherweise verschont.
On May 06, 2020 the 139 260 with intermodular train DGS 43119 from Munich East to Verona Q.E. could pass the slow speed section between Grafing and Aßling in brisk speed, as she was guided over the unaffected counter track. With its new handle bars, which were installed due to a new safety directive, the engine looks quite strange. Fortunately, the remaining 139s from Lokomotion have so far been spared such conversions.
