One of the most beautiful serenades of Mozart, Serenad No 10, for winds,Gran partita.
Starts a little lazy, like a rusty organ, and as the whole piece treads on, then suddenly a lone note from the oboe, floating above the clouds and the earth far below, hovers above the earth beautifully.

The tiny inhabitants of the canal, the pond skaters. It's fascinating to watch these critters, they move very fast over the still and thick water and they can skate, jump and fly! (Best in Large for details)

I spent the last week in Berlin.
6 evenings from 7pm to midnight at the festival of lights - 1400 photos - 3 videos.
The illuminations are art, but my photos are only a documentationof this great event. Nevertheless i guess it's a nice idea to show some examples for tose who weren't there...

I am dreaming of spring! It's an unseasonably nice February day out and I met some friends for lunch at a vegan food fest just a short bike ride away. All the snow has melted and the sun is bright and cheery!
It's funny how when the Autumn comes, I feel my inner goth coming out and I start to hibernate like a cloudy blue Care Bear and sleep all the time but in the spring I feel like I have so much energy.
Anyway, I hope everyone is having a great day today. There is always a lot of sadness in the world. I can't help feeling like we all take turns experience it. But, if we're sad all the time, it's a horrible existence.

Yes these are Canadian geese! Love to see a flock landing, taking off or even floating!
The Titicaca floating islands are not just agricultural land, but real villages inhabited by groups of 3 to 10 families depending on their area. They include huts also made of totora, rushes with which the islanders also make basic furniture and beautiful bow boats in the shape of a puma head.

Today is a red day at Color my World Daily and we celebrate Geometry Shapes at Macro Mondays.
Red lady always hated geometry… especially as a subject in school. She was always the less skilled one in geometry. And the geometry teacher was a pain in the a**ss. However, now, after few years on this Earth, Red Lady loves when things are geometrically perfect or at least very, very symmetrical and closed by very define boundaries. That is why, she decided to visite this modern art exposition about geometric shapes. As you can see in this picture, she felt in love with this modern and very geometric floating sculpture called : « floating geometry ». I hope you will like it as well.
Since I have a video meeting, I will not be able to show you other pictures from this exposition this morning. But who knows, maybe we will have another geometric picture in a future…
