Very difficult to explain clearly, Recently, many VPN software was blocked in China.
I have not been able to log in Flickr with a laptop for more than a month. While China's Apple store still cannot download FlickrAPP!
Now I can only upload photos with iPhonewithSafari, very inconvenient!
I hope to find a more reasonable way to log in Flickr, as soon as possible!
Thanks a lot my Flickr friends!
This is one of the Subways in the grounds of The NEC in Birmingham. They have been painted in random patterns and are lit up by LED colour changing lights. Photo was taken using a Sony Z5.
Lovely walk around London when the tube staff went on strike one day. Tried using some editing functions on the flickr app, what do you guys think? :)

Flickr has updated their app, so now I can upload directly from my iPhone 5. This was taken this morning, the hoar frost was amazing!
Quick snap of Selfridges on my way to work. Clear blue skies, great lines to work with and the morning sun casting great light. Hopefully will get a chance to edit some DSLR pictures tonight, but for now the iPhone 5 is serving me rather well...

Dear William,
My name is Lisa Seitz Gruwell and I’m the Deputy CEO of the Wikimedia Foundation. Thank you so much for your one-time gift of A$15.60. Your generosity keeps Wikipedia and its sister projects strong, benefiting people all around the world.
Wikipedia only exists because people like you make it exist. It’s a beautiful example of what’s possible when millions work towards a common goal, despite their differences.
I am truly inspired by the fact that volunteers from around the world, from all backgrounds and nationalities, choose to help us build this global encyclopedia each day. Wikipedia is now available in 326 languages and receives 5.67 edits every second!
Beyond the statistics, every edit and article reflects a human story of dedication, passion, and generosity—just like yours. Your gift of A$15.60 will help us ensure that Wikipedia can continue to grow and unite people in their pursuit of knowledge. It will help us make sure our technology remains at the highest standard to meet the needs of every reader or volunteer – whether that’s by developing new online tools or supporting Wikipedia in different languages so more people can create and access knowledge in their mother tongue.
Thank you again for helping us build a world where people everywhere have access to free and fair information. We couldn’t do this without you.
With gratitude,
Lisa Seitz Gruwell

I am re-posting this one because, somehow it got deleted from my flickr gallery yesterday.
I figured out that I was the one that un-intentionally deleted my own photograph(s) while trying to drag the photo-location to the map.
Carpodacus mexicanus
Can you find the insect in the photograph?
In the prior image you can see a bunch of thistle seeds in place, and then the seeds got dislodged and fell through the air.

This was an accident as I was trying to take a shot of the line made by the light against the wall.
Upon viewing it after it reminded me of one of my favourite mobile photographers on Flickr.

Snowy egret (high breeding plumage)
Egretta thula
UT Southwestern Medical Center Rookery.
You might be tempted to think he was standing still, but the raised foot offers a clue. In reality, his raised feathers are constantly going up and down and up again, and he is pivoting all over the place, and the sun was going in and out of the clouds which is changing the exposure (I shoot all my shots with manual exposure, never auto exposure).

Photographers note: When I tried to process this image with photoshop. Photoshop curves or Photoshop levels told me that the photo was overexposed and I could not get details in the highlights. So then I used Canons raw software (I never normally use that one). And that software had zero problem recovering details in the highlights. Whew! Almost sent this image to the recycle bin.
