It was unusual that I had to dress up warmly for the football game…the temperature that day was 51 degrees outside. But however I had to dress up in a worse case scenario if it should get chilly. Yes….the most important thing to wear at a Packer game is a CHEESEHEAD. I had the cowboy hat Cheesehead and I had no idea why I took along my sunglasses with me but however on TV there was this Green Bay Packers superfan who dresses up like Hulk Hogan complete with a Packers-themed wrestling championship belt! I think I was channeling one of the other wrestlers from the 1980s which was the Macho Man.
Andrew and I had lunch at Basil’s which is known as Basil’s II because the original burnt down. What was unusual is that we were watching a football game on TV and it was the football game in Frankfurt where the Kansas City Chiefs were taking on the Miami Dolphins. One of the big moments of the game is where the football must of hit the scoreboard by mistake…of course the real highlight was where Kansas City really flexed their football playing muscles against the Dolphins. Yes…there is a mention in the comic about one of the big highlights of the 2023 Chiefs season and it has nothing to do with football…it’s more like a modern interpretation of the song “You’re So Vain” which is the so-called “Kelce-Swift” thing. When we went to Green Bay…we took the backroads which included going past Wisconsin’s only (?) Sunoco gas station and all those hilly and curvy drives. Then as we got to the highway…we encountered TRAFFIC! Now we rarely have traffic in Green Bay. But however this traffic isn’t like rush hour in Chicago…we manage to get to the game on time.
