The Sony RX100 Mk3 is an excellent little camera but unfortunately the mounting lugs are too tiny for the Remmen Flatmount Extension. But theres a solution for that! With the jacket case you get bigger lugs to fit the Flatmount Extension and of course you by Remmen Camera Straps

Jimi Hendrix's Flying V Gibson Guitar by Mike Cattell

Jimi Hendrixs' custom made Gibson Flying V guitar, which he called "Flying Angel" Currently in the Hard Rock Cafe Museum, London, England.

 

Serial number 849476 manufactured specially for Jimi in 1969, this guitar probably left the factory in 1970.

Jimi was playing this specific V during the Isle of Wight concert.

All hardware is gold.

The vibrato is a typical flatmount base (no difference left or right) with a special string anchor bit and lever (made with 3 different holes for longitudinal adjustment.

This was the first time Gibson inlayed a pearl logo in a Flying V. This feature was subsequently used on the 89/90 V90's, the Golden Eagle, the Hendrix signature in 91 and the Centennial in 94.

The split diamond inlay was requested specially by Jimi (it was a new design at the time) made to represent native indians arrow heads. This inlay has been used since on the 89/90 V90's, the Golden Eagle, the Hendrix signature in 91 and the Centennial in 94.

The tuners strangely enough are quite odd : they are Kluson built "Gibson Deluxe" double line tuners but single line tulip buttons which is unusual since during that period and up to 1971 at least, the perloid buttons had 2 rings.

This is my adventure rig - radically modern at least for me. The details are:

- lugged OS frame & fork built out of a mix of Columbus Zona (seat & chainstays), Tange Prestige Japan (top- and downtube), Columbus Life (seat tube), Reynolds 853 disc specific fork blades

- the lugs are modified and thinned, the rear dropouts are made by @bearframesupplies

- almost all braze-ons are stainless steel

- the front rack is custom made out of 8mm CrMo tubing

- the stem will be replaced by a custom built once the position is dialed in

The bike is equipped with a SRAM Force 1 groupset, a Chris King headset & bottom bracket. It features a PMP titanium seatpost & the new Selle Anatomica X2. The wheels are built of Pacenti rims, Sapim spokes and a DTswiss 350 hub in the rear, a SP dynamo hub in the front. The lights are a Supernova E3 and their rear light with internal cable routing. The brakes are TRY Hy/Rd flatmount with a 160mm disc in the front and a 140mm in the back.

die SRAM Flatmount Bremse für das Hope Hinterrad, neues Lenkerband ,ist neu- Winter- SON Lichtanlage wieder von der Reparatur zurück und die leichte WTB Bereifung. XT SPD.

Mittlerweile ist der Ledersattel im Winterschlaf und ein Selle Italia Sport ist für das schlechte Wetter montiert
