Caught some flathead off the pier yesterday. Also had a scare as I was

checked by the fisheries officers and had an undersized pinkie. A kid

next to me caught a 25cm pinkie and kept it till it died, gave it to

me when he went home. The legal limit is 28cm but I thought might as

well not waste it. And lo behold I get checked by the fisheries

department! Fortunately they let me off with a warning. Learnt my

lesson.
