Dunn-Edwards Paints leases the Peterbilt Model 325, which can handle carrying up to 500 gallons of paint, from PacLease. The Peterbilt is spec'd with the PACCAR PX-6 engine, rated at 200 hp., an Allison 1000 HS automatic transmission, plus Morgan 14-foot flatbed stake bodies with Maxon lift gates.
Epson Perfection 4490 vs Scanmate 3000. The 14-year old 3000dpi 12bit drum scanner runs circles around 4800dpi 16bit flatbed in shadow-performance, yet CCD does little better on highlights (well OK, I did adjust highlight curves on scanning, yet nothing on PMT).
On the windmill image you see the bushes glowing on the background of the windmill which is also visible when seeing the Kodak Aerochrome slides against the light. My CCD scanner just can't make them bushes "glow" no matter how I try. Drum scanner needed no adjustments to make the scans look like the E-6 slides against the light with your own eyes.
On the dogs image see the shadows coming out on the r/h side and the fine structure of the little rocks.
Also overall tonal balance is on the brighter side on PMTs. Please note that those are my first drum scans ever so I'm just in the learning process how to make better scans (PMTs do act differently!) yet I've tried every trick with my CCD Epson flatbed so it's more like: "the best flatbed CCD vs rookie drum scan" comparison :)

It has a telescopic HIab, rolling wheels and an opnening bonnet, no doors though.

Sometimes the simplest liveries are the best. The Shore Porter's Society livery has been little changed over the Aberdeen-based company's 500+ year history. Whilst perhaps best known for household and commercial removals, it is also engaged in general haulage. I have no idea whether it ever operated any Seddon trucks such as this 12-Four flatbed, but the dark blue livery suits the traditional lines of its attractive fibreglass cab (17-Nov-17).
