Pages from a brochure on this East German truck, and they are still in business making updated but similar trucks.
The F-9 Flatbed is a light starfighter design in service with many planetary defence forces. It can operate both in space and inside an atmosphere. The unit shown here is painted with the markings of the 75th Squadron ASDF (Altair System Defence Forces).

Peterbilt 379 with 40/20 flatbed set loaded with hay belonging to Farm Supply Distributors Inc. of Enterprise, OR on I-84 near Hermiston, OR in October 2014.
Standing on display at Chester-le-Street Steam and Vintage Fair is this well restored 1959 AEC Mammoth Major, affectionately called "Little John" and UK registered 778 MNU.
It is currently in the livery of R.Towse of Newport, East Yorkshire, although it has had other liveries in preservation.
The Mammoth Major was a heavy-duty British truck, introduced in 1931, by Associated Equipment Company (AEC), as a six-wheeled 6x4 variant of the Mammoth, and was specifically designed for high payloads and long-distance haulage. Production of the model continued until 1978.

I bought those blue doors a few years back, tried to build an older set but I didn't quite like it. So it just ended up being in my storage bin... until I saw this year's Modular Corner-Garage ... :D Fell in love with the truck. Modified the back to be a simple flatbed style with wood flooring.
