INVASION OF KÖLN
The city and region of Köln counts a total of 27 space invaders divided over 3 waves. The first wave was in October 2006 and counted 3 space invaders, the second in February 2007 at the same time as the exhibition "Bad Man" in Galerie Joellenbeck. In 2015 a third wave followed in the European Astronaut Center (EAC) in ESA as part of the Space2ISS project.
I had already visited the latter on April 19, 2017 without visiting the other space invaders. I visited, flashed and photographed the others in February 2024.
My score for Cologne is: 22 of the 27 flashed, 1 could not be flashed and 4 were already deleted at the time of my visit.

Due to the game FlashInvaders (the online game of Invader to flash space invaders and score points) I feel myself urged to re-visit space invaders I have visited years ago. It was more than 9 years ago I found this one for the first time but never took a decent 'zoom-in' photo of it. I normally replace the old photo with a new one, but I like to be able to compare this one with the same 'zoom-in' photo of 9 years ago. Space invader archeology 'pur sang'.

As far as I remember and hunt on space invaders in Paris and beyond (the year 2005) I have seen only seen this space invader for more than 35 percent destroyed. Not flashable on the online game smartphone application FlashInvaders untill June 2015 when of the space invader fans in Paris restored PA_312 and made it 'flashable' again. A perfect job with exactly the same tiles (color, size, material).
