KLN_19 [20 points]
Also this badly damaged but original space invader is an iconic space invader in the city of Köln and one of the two mounted on or near the famous Hohenzolernbrücke (bridge) which caries both trains as pedestrians and bicycles. This one is located at the end of the bridge next to the busy railway station of Köln. Train spotting and space invader flashing are going hand in hand on this location.

INVASION OF KÖLN
The city and region of Köln counts a total of 27 space invaders divided over 3 waves. The first wave was in October 2006 and counted 3 space invaders, the second in February 2007 at the same time as the exhibition "Bad Man" in Galerie Joellenbeck. In 2015 a third wave followed in the European Astronaut Center (EAC) in ESA as part of the Space2ISS project.
I had already visited the latter on April 19, 2017 without visiting the other space invaders. I visited, flashed and photographed the others in February 2024.
My score for Cologne is: 22 of the 27 flashed, 1 could not be flashed and 4 were already deleted at the time of my visit.
